Webster Equipment
The name Webster is renowned for supplying hydraulic cutting machinery since 1965. Originally supplying equipment for mining and civil engineering, Websters was the first to successfully apply hydraulic power to cutting. The experience gained was brought to the construction industry in the late 1980s.
More recently, Webster Equipment Limited launched the Webster ROCKWHEEL range, a series of hydraulic excavator mounted attachments (otherwise known in the industry as rotary cutters or transverse cutting units).
These transverse cutting units are the latest range to be developed for the construction, and mining, tunnelling and nuclear industries.
The ROCKWHEEL is an alternative to hydraulic hammers and buckets. The transverse cutting unit provides the plant operator with a robust and versatile cutting facility, which can quickly be attached to the bucket linkage of an excavating machine to provide a hard dig capability.
Webster Equipment offers a standard range of units.
The key features are:
- Higher Specifications - more power and pick force and no drain lines.
- Extremely accurate cut with high excavation output.
- Environmentally friendly - Low noise and vibration levels.
In addition bespoke designs can be offered to suit the individual customers requirements. i.e. dust suppression systems, cutting depth control and selection of drum types.
The ROCKWHEEL range is available for purchase or rental. Contact sales@websterequipment.com for further information or contact Angela Naylor by email on an@websterequipment.com or telephone +44 (0)114 248 8262.
